David Gaunt



David has more than 35 years experience in mainstream commercial property development, predominantly in Central London.
He co-founded architects and surveyors Hunter and Partners which grew to 350 strong in the 1980’s, before setting up Gaunt Francis Architects with Alan Francis in 1997.
David has been responsible for significant projects for, amongst others, Scottish Widows Fund and Life Assurance Society, Scottish Provident, COPRA, Groupement Foncier Francais, London & Edinburgh Trust, Helical Bar Plc, Imery Plc, the Grosvenor Estate and the British Racing Drivers Club. Notable commercial projects include the redevelopment of Nightingale House, Curzon Street, London, St James House, Cockspur Street and Belvedere House, Knightsbridge.
David retired from Gaunt Francis Architects in March 2008 after 11 years as a practice partner.
