An existing ‘Kwik Save’ store occupied an ageing building and was not trading strongly. However, the location was valuable for retail and other redevelopments nearby, including a new Porsche garage, were raising the profile of the area.
Our scheme took the existing building and transformed the sense of arrival with a new external elevation, steel framed walkway and high quality glazing whilst retaining many of the hidden elements of structure. As such, the 5 new retail units formed benefit from a completely new appearance which has been achieved within a tight budget as required by our client.
The five retail units are now all let and are trading well based on their improved profile and design.
