In 2007 Beacon Capital Partners commissioned gaunt Francis Architects to investigate options for improving City Point, the former BP headquarters building redeveloped in mid 1990’s.

Scheme proposals have been prepared targeting various improvements across the building but particularly a significant expansion of existing reception area and a complete new landscaping, lighting and signage scheme for the plaza to create a world class public open space. Other scheme proposals are to create new retail in the western arcade in what was previously underused circulation space around the lift lobbies.
