Mark is an experienced Chartered Architect with over 30 years post qualification involvement across the UK, in both the private and public sectors.

Mark joined Gaunt Francis Architects in 2015. During his time at Sidell Gibson Partnership LLP he worked on a variety of commercial office and mixed-use developments, and was made an associate in 1989 and a partner in 2000. He also worked on major residential masterplans and hotel developments across the UK, as well as in Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Bahrain.

Recently Mark has also worked for several years as a consultant for developers such as Brightwell Solutions Limited, as well as advising the Trustees of the National Angling Museum. His current work at Gaunt Francis sees him oversee the construction stage on retirement living developments as well as lend his experience on the practice’s office and residential work.
