Chalfont Dene is an Audley Retirement Village comprising 84 units of accommodation in a range of apartments and cottages. It sits within the Green Belt on a Major Developed Site currently housing accommodation for the Epilepsy Society.

The architectural design has taken its inspiration from the local vernacular and also the high quality arts and crafts architecture that can be found in the area. The scheme layout is based on the idea of a “spine” street that links the various set-piece spaces together and provides both access and legibility. The communal facilities, which are the hub of the site, are located centrally with views over the pond and surrounding meadow.
